Have you no sense of excitement and anticipation? Nothing thrills the DC resident like odd explosions at awful hours with substantial damage. You didn't even touch upon MY favorite part:

Seriously. Did you see the part about the school that needed triple panned windows and a new AC system so their students wouldn't be driven mad by the construction noise for months on end? I hope the explosion doesn't blow out their new windows.

Well, I was awake anyway because I wondered if I could hear it. It sounded like far off thunder. So, it wouldn't have woken me, if I had been able to sleep.
