That's definitely on the list of "fabulously fun but otherwise entirely useless degrees". Write lots and lots of criticism, maybe? Somebody needs to give Harold Bloom a run for his money before he decides to claim personal ownership of the language as a whole.

They are definitely worth checking out although Arthur (Artos, here) is often a background figure. Most of all, she redeems Medraut. Wein is one of the few authors who actually uses his potential. So many authors set up a fascinating and complex character, then either get too caught up in everything else going on to use that or wuss out on writing something so challenging - to writer and reader - and end up making him a cookie-cutter villain. (T.H. White, I'm looking at you!)
