Porn on a Train

This morning, on my way in to work via the Metro, I sat down next to a 50-something lady with her laptop open. I, being the nosy busybody that I am, glanced over at what she was reading.

It was Buffy fanfic porn. Spike/Xander, no less.

I'm trying to think of something witty to add to this, but I think it just speaks for itself.

Well, it was sort of a Snakes on a Plane joke. When I was sitting there, my first thought was, "Porn! On a train!"

This might make a good OUaFT, you're right. I've alredy mentioned the Underground.

Hollywood Metro is seriously not real world Metro. Like, train cars with only one person in them? Never happens. Even at the last stop, because trains run so infrequently at night, there's usually at least seven or eight people in a car, all the way out.

Anyway, I'm sure you didn't need to know that.

Yes! They do the same thing with busses. There's this movietickets.com (or... it could be fandango. I don't know) commercial that they run before previews at my local theatre, and they show this old guy all alone on a city bus (and, considering that he's on his way to the movies, it's probably not that late. Maybe 8ish). And everytime I see this commercial I think "There is NO WAY a bus would be that empty. Ever. Especially a bus that goes to or near a movie theatre." It drives me crazy because I really WISH busses would be that empty, it would make my life so much easier (no more standing with my face in someone's armpit!). And then people laugh at me for bringing it up. But it's true. It could be one in the morning, that bus is not going to be empty.

I've seen that commercial! I think it must be movietickets.com, because Fandango uses those stupid bag puppets all the time. Though, I didn't think I was in movietickets.com's market. Hmmmm...mystery.
